Meet Our Team Members


Phil Bevan

Founder & Inventor

Phil is a serial entrepreneur and innovator that has worked all over the world mainly in Saudi Arabia. He loves the challenge of solving complex problems to achieve better outcomes and has registered over 100 patents in various fields including automotive, agronomy, fumigation, construction and clean and renewable energy.

Phil love’s a challenge and if someone says it cannot be done, he will find a way to make it happen. Phil is not reinventing the wheel he is making it better. 


Dave Redshaw

Head of Marketing

Dave Redshaw is Head of IT and Social Media for the Bevan Davidson Group. Dave has worked in IT for over 15 years creating and running a large successful network of International online automotive clubs and websites. He also specialises in trade mark acquisitions which is how  he met Phil Bevan in 2018 when Phil wanted to buy the Levis Motorcycle brand.

In 2016 Dave founded the Veterans Garage social enterprise dedicated to helping veterans suffering with PTSD. This was after seeing his son return from a tour in Afghanistan and witnessing the effects it had on his mental health together with other members of the military service, The Veterans Garage is still going today Based at City Airport in Manchester.


Steve Kirk

Head Of Design

Steve has been involved in various aspects of design such as Interior, Product, and Automotive design throughout his career. His passion however is in the latter.

He was originally approached by Phil to produce a new car concept in the 1980s and has enjoyed a creative and exciting working relationship with him ever since.

Steve joined the BDI team in January 2017 and his role is to produce the concepts and oversee the design process from creation to production working closely with the in-house technicians and partner suppliers.


Richard Bevan

Logistics Director

Richard is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of a business. As the logistics director he oversees the supply chain department; ensuring policy of purchasing, delivery, transport and distribution of goods. Richard also organises all road show events and manages all sponsorship with independent companies.


Tim Bishop

Chief Engineer

Tim is now the Chief Engineer for BDI overseeing all the active projects.

The brainchild of ex-Jaguar consultant engineers, Tim Bishop and the founder of Connaught Type-D has to date received almost half a million pounds worth of funding from the Energy Saving Trust and has no less than 17 patents pending on its ground-breaking technology.

Tim is an “outside the box” thinker.


Harvey Catchpole

Technical Business Analyst

Harvey graduated from the University of Lincoln in International Business Management and has since worked with Phil and the BDI team in a variety of projects including Integro-E for technology and battery integration through to utilisation of commercial technologies such as 3D scanning and rapid prototyping.

Working with key stakeholders and partners to ensure BDI is always ahead of the curve for technology adoption and utilisation.


Michael Agius

Board Adviser

Michael is a commercially focused and accomplished commercial director and business development specialist with over 15 years of direct field sales and business development experience spanning a variety of sectors. Michael has helped many startup businesses grow rapidly in the UK and UAE reaching IPO.

Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth

He demonstrates a strong track record of both new business hunting and account management with additional experience in undertaking a range of business development activities. Other strengths include excellent commercial awareness, negotiation ability and interpersonal skills.
