LEVIS MOTORCYCLES TO USE VILLIERS ENGINES

Levis signs new engine deal
The Levis Motorcycle Company has agreed to appoint Villiers as their sole engine and gearbox supplier for their upcoming new range of motorcycles. This is a very prestigous contract for Villiers and will see the company designing and developing a range of engines suited specifically for motorcycle applications.
Levis Motorcyles founder and chief engineer Phil Bevan said,
We are trying hard to put Levis Motorcycles firmly back on the map as a British motorcycle manufacturer. We are very proud to be able to fly the flag for Britain again and to be able to source unique and interesting engines from a British supplier was very important to us. What really impressed us was the positive can do attitude shown to us by the Villiers engineering team. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Villiers!!!”

The first Villiers engine developed for Levis is the 1.2 litre V6 specifically for use in their prestigous Cafe Racer and Urban Roadster models. Other engines in development are the 2 litre V10 for use in a future cruiser model and the 1.2 litre V Twin destined for a retro styled roadster.
