At its core is its ground breaking V6 1200cc engine, made in cast aluminium (or magnesium as an optional extra), developed from the Connaught Type D, providing huge torque via a six speed gearbox. The Café Racer has a unique stainless steel frame featuring state of the art suspension: A single-sided swing arm at the rear and a ‘Hossack’ double wishbone system at the front. The original Levis company manufactured motorbikes in Birmingham up until 1941 and peaked during the 1910s and 20s when their two-stroke motorcycles twice won the Isle of Man TT.
